Gold and silver medals from the European Championship won by NSA's Taekwondo Club

At the recently concluded European Olympic Taekwondo Championship for children in Tirana, athletes from the "Taekwondo Fitness NSA" club won a title and a silver medal. The championship in the Albanian capital took place over the weekend and featured 650 young competitors from across Europe.

Vyara Genova, coached by Spasiana Grigorova, became European champion in the under-30 kg category. Her teammate Darina Mtan claimed the silver medal in the under-44 kg category. Two other athletes, trained by Zhelyazko Kostadinov and Vladimir Balabanov, who are Darina's personal coaches, reached the quarterfinals.

The medals won by Genova and Mtan contributed to the Bulgarian team's first-place finish in the overall standings.
