On November 23 and 24, 2024, the 20th anniversary international gymnastics tournament "Lyubcho Solachki" was held in Blagoevgrad. More than 350 athletes from various countries participated in the event.
The competitors from the "A-GYM" club of the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski" also participated in the competition. In the team competition, our gymnasts placed first in categories 1 and 2. Kristiyana Bahchevanova won the gold medal in the all-around. She proved to be the best on the balance beam and floor exercise. Sofia Chaprazova won the silver medal in the balance beam competition. Viktoriya Yancheva placed 1st on the balance beam, 5th on floor exercise, and 4th in the all-around. Daria Valcheva narrowly missed the podium, finishing 4th in the all-around. Nataliya Georgieva became the champion in the all-around, placed second on the uneven bars, and took third place in vault.
The boys also performed excellently. Viktor Valchev won the gold medal in floor exercise. Konstantin Dimitrov placed third in vault, and Iliyan Dimitrov took seventh position. Aleksandar Mihnev finished eighth in the all-around.
The children’s coaches were instructors from the Department of Gymnastics at NSA - Assoc. Prof. E. Stoimenov and Hon. Lecturer V. Hristova.
The judge representing the Academy's club was Radostina Ranchova, a second-year student at NSA.
