Stoeva Sisters Win Doubles Title at International Tournament in Iran

Stefani Stoeva (a student at the National Sports Academy) and Gabriela Stoeva claimed the doubles title at the "International Challenge" badminton tournament in Semnan, Iran, securing their first trophy of 2025.

The sisters, who were the top seeds, defeated the third-seeded duo Bengisu Ercetin and Nazlican Inci from Turkey in the final with a score of 23:21, 21:16 in just 36 minutes. With this victory, Bulgaria finished the tournament with two medals, as Gabriela Stoeva and Evgeni Panev also won bronze in the mixed doubles category.
