Sector of Fencing

Department “HEAVY ATHLETICS, BOXING, FENCING AND SPORT FOR ONE AND ALL”

The sector of fencing was managed at the time of it’s establishment from four permanently appointed lecturers, listed as follows: ANTO MLADENOV, YORDAN ZLATKOV (BARBATA), NIKOLAY GENOV AND KRASIMIR PETKOV. As part – time lecturers at the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski” have worked ASEN LEKARSKY, KRASIMIR PETKOV AND DANIEL BOYADJIEV.

The quality of training at the sector was determinate by historical definiteness in the fencing development. In the beginning, the first lecturers of fencing have compensated their knowledge unavailability with a great hard work.Subsequentlythe academic contacts, the competition activities and the personal qualities of the sector directors promote the achievement of a European high academic quality of training. The high sports results of the students at the National Sports Academy are an evidence for a practice workable high value of the training.

A great number of graduated specialists from the National Sports Academy are working successful abroad.
